Filming Our Preliminary Task

Filming our preliminary task went very well overall. We had a detailed storyboard, which helped us know exactly what shots we wanted and all had a clear idea of what we wanted our piece to look like, so this help us create it easily. Some challenges we did face were things such as lighting and unwanted people in our shots. Because we filmed just after school, it was still quite bright outside, which didn't really fit the mood we were going for. Also, when we went inside the classroom, it was very dark. This made it quite difficult to see one scene and looked an odd contrast to the other shots. We also picked a time where an after school club had left as we were trying to film outside, which meant that we had to wait a long time for people and cars to leave before we could film. These problems show that we really need to consider time and setting a lot better before we film our net piece. Our group all got a long and all knew what we each individually had to do, so we all came together well to create the film piece.
